Alice Dukeshire


Alice G. Dukeshire  88, of Tewksbury (formerly of Malden), MA died peacefully on February 16th at home.

She was born on June 3rd, 1933 in Boston. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph, with whom she shared almost 60 years of marriage. Alice enjoyed spending time with family and loved playing poker, puzzles and games. She also loved Bailey, her little pug who was her companion. Alice was blessed with a large and loving family who will miss her dearly.

Alice is survived by her children, Joseph Jr. and his wife Kaylene of Springdale, AR, William and his partner Christine of Florida, James of Virginia, Theresa and her husband Joseph of Tewksbury and Robert and his wife Luisa of Virginia. She was the cherished grandmother  to David Dukeshire and his wife Jennifer, Allan Bell and his wife Deana, James Monzione, Kelci Monzione, Thomas Dukeshire, Christopher Dukeshire, and great-grandmother to Sara, Joelle, Kylee, Katherine and Griffin. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas who passed in 1993.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the VNA Hospice and Palliative Care, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923 in Alice’s memory. Services will be private.

    Scott and I want to send the whole Dukeshire Family our deepest sympathies and condolences. Although we never met Alice in person we felt like we knew thru stories from Robert over the years. She seemed like a genuine person. May you always feel her spirit in your heart, soul and memories as you move thru the rest of your lives. Hope your celebration of her life gives you peace.
