Anthony J. (Tony) Uva, age 74, succumbed to a long battle with MS on December 22, 2022. He
is at peace with his mother, Thomasina and father, Joseph whom he loved dearly. Tony was born
and raised in Hyde Park, MA where he learned to play and enjoy Baseball. He was an avid Red
Sox fan throughout the years and loved his New York Football Giants. In addition to sports his
favorite pastime was enjoying an old movie on TV.

Tony leaves behind in Norton, MA. his loving and caring wife Sharon (Claffy) Uva, his daughter Melissa Kohlman and grandson Jeffrey Kohlman.

Family was very important to Tony who loved to share family memories with his brother Gerard
(Gerry) Uva of Abington, MA and of his sisters Christine Juron of Warwick, NY and Kara Kinsella
of Hanson, MA. His many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews will always
remember Uncle Tony.

Tony was a Navy Vietnam Veteran. He lived with MS for 33 years. A special thank you for all
who helped care for him. Donations can be made in his memory to the MS Society.

Tony lost his battle with MS, but beat the odds for 32 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. There will be a spot forever emptied here on earth, but a light opened up with his arrival in Heaven.
