NORTON: Barbara “Barb” A. Shea, 67, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 with her family by her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, James “Jim” J. Shea of Norton; her daughter Brittany Shea of England; her granddaughter Lilly Short of England; her brother Robert Brown and his wife Terri of Randolph; her sister Pat Laverty and her husband Bernie of Marshfield; her aunt Anne Martin and her husband Ronnie of Natick; her dear friend Deb Deitch of Norton; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her faithful companion Daisy. Her brother David Brown predeceased her.

Barb was born in Boston, MA the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Doty) Brown. She graduated Brockton High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Laboure College in Milton going to work as a legal secretary. She worked many years with Brigham & Women’s Hospital and other local area healthcare providers until her retirement in 1997. She and Jim loved to take cruises, Barb loved to shop but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

All are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 4-8pm at Boston Cremation, 115 North Main Street, Mansfield, MA 02048. Her funeral Mass is Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1 Power Street, Norton, MA 02766. Burial will be private.
