Charles Carpenter


Charles (Chuck) Richard Carpenter 53, went home to be with the Lord on Dec 17, 2014. He died unexpectedly at home. Chuck was born in
East Meadow, New York, moving to Mass. at an early age, graduating from Fitchburg High School in 1979 and continuing his education at Fisher Jr. College. He was an avid sports-fan who enjoyed traveling, loved animals, watching the History channel and riding roller coasters. He was a member of The DAV, Knights of Columbus, and served in the Armed Forces from 1979 to 1981. He leaves behind his lifelong partner of 32 years, Rosemary Vaillette of Gardner, one sister Toni-Lynn Rameau and her husband Dana of Westminster, two brothers Richard Carpenter and his wife Jackie of Fitchburg and Patrick Lawlor of Gardner along with several aunts, uncles, niecies, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his Mother Mary Zungola Carpenter Lawlor and stepfather James Lawlor, maternal grandparents Anthony and Elma Zungola, and a niece Nicole Carpenter. A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place onTuesday December 30th, at 10:00 am at Higher Ground Ministries, 186 Central St. Gardner, Ma 01440. The burial will be at a later date.
