Christine McEvoy, Justified by an abiding faith, strengthened by grace, and comforted by the Holy Spirit, passed peacefully into eternal life on Thursday, April 11, 2019. After enduring a long and courageous battle with cancer Christine died as she wished, at home surrounded by those she loved. She was 66.

Christine, a native of Quincy, was born on November 10, 1952 the daughter of deceased Robert F Ridge and Elizabeth M (Ahern) Ridge both of Boston.

Beloved wife of Dennis J McEvoy. Devoted mother of Devin M McEvoy of LA, CA Loving sister of Ellen Ridge of Quincy and the late William Ridge of Sedro Woolley, WA. Loving niece of Mary Ridge and the late Dorothy Ridge of Squantum, Lynne Ahern of Quincy and Hannah (Ann) Lustman of Chicago, IL.

Christine also leaves many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass which will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday April 22, 2019 in our Lady of Good Councel Church at 237 Sea St. Quincy.
