Clarence L. Miller, Jr.


Clarence L. Miller, Jr. , “Junior”, passed away on June 8, 2022 after a long illness, surrounded by his family. 

Junior was born on April 20, 1946 in Ludington, Michigan.  He was 76.
He was a proud member of the Local 589 Union and retired from the MBTA. 

He leaves behind his wife Linda Patricia (Little) of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, his sister, Eileen Miller, of Rockland, his son, Robert Miller, and his wife, Suzie, of Washington State, and his daughter, Denise Miller Sharif, and her husband, Musa, of Newton.

Junior was predeceased by his father, Clarence L. Miller of Ludington, Michigan, his mother, Mary O’Brien Miller, of Boston and his brother, Danny Miller of Dorchester. 

He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Sara Miller of Washington State and Kelsey Miller Taylor and her husband, Brody, of Oregon and Caleb and Nyla Sharif of Newton.  His nephews, Danny Miller and his wife, Margaret, of Brockton, Richie Miller of Dorchester and his sister-in-law, Sandy Miller, of Dorchester. 

There will be a memorial service held on Friday, June 24th from 9:00-11:00 am, with a prayer service of the Catholic faith at 10:30 at Boston Cremation, 116 Franklin Street in Quincy.   All friends are welcome to attend.

    My sympathies to the family and friends of Jr. He was a great friend to all of us on Facebook in many of the Oldies and Doo-Wop groups. He was quite the authority on Doo-Wop music and I know he really enjoyed it. Prayers for Jr and his whole family.
