David Charles Munroe
David Charles Munroe, 59, of Acton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 29, 2021. He was the husband of Carol (Enos) Munroe.
David was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of the late Charles A. Munroe and the late Janice E.(King) McLaughlin. David had many jobs throughout his working career but he was the most proud of the years he spent as a paramedic. He also was proud of completing basic training for the Army. Throughout his life David enjoyed participating in events such as Judo and Tawkwondo. David was an avid Boston sports fan. He also loved his family dearly.
David leaves behind 3 children; Rachel Munroe of Manchester, New Hampshire, Dustin Munroe of Brockton, and Melissa Munroe of Weymouth, 3 sisters, Nancy Reidel and her husband Charles of North Attleboro, Linda Donadio and her husband Robert of Franklin, and Beth Dunton of Fayetteville, North Carolina, 4 brothers Kevin Munroe of Clinton, Wayne Munroe of Lowell, Derek Munroe and his wife Jennifer of Mount Airy, Georgia, and Keith Munroe of Baldwin, Georgia. He also has 2 grandsons and a granddaughter, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
All are invited to attend a Celebration of David’s life on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 9am-11am at Boston Cremation, 115 North Main Street, Mansfield, MA 02048. A prayer service will begin at 11am. Burial will be private.
