Deanna (Williams) Meyer, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, August 5, 2018. She was born Deanna Jane, May 5, 1939, in Springfield Illinois, the youngest of four children from Joseph and Jane Williams. She was a loving younger sister to her two predeceased siblings Dawn (Taylor) and Doris (Verhines). She is survived by her older brother Ross and many nieces and nephews, and her only son Christian Josef, his wife Stacey Marie, and her grandchildren Priscilla Jane (10) and Gretyl Abbie (6).

Deanna was a proud flight attendant for 35 years and later graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theologic Seminary where she became an ordained pastor who loved and served her Lord, Jesus Christ. Deanna (Dee to her friends) was an adventurous world traveler who lived life to the fullest and embraced change. She loved all animals and spoiled her pets, especially her Boston Terriers. She cherished her time with her granddaughters who adoringly called her “Grandma DeeDee.” Private services to be held at a future date.
