Deborah “Debbie” L. Corliss
Deborah (Debbie) L. Corliss, 64, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on April 22, surrounded by her loving family after a period of declining health. Debbie was born on January 3, 1957 in Boston, MA, to the late Joseph F Corliss and Elizabeth (Betty) Farrell Corliss.
Beloved mother of Kelley Flaherty and wife Jen, and Nicole Corliss, she also leaves behind her longtime companion, Tim Bryant and her grandson, Matt.
The fifth born of seven children, Debbie hailed from a large tight-knit family, who fondly referred to her as “Debbie-Lou”. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Barbra Bailey, Elizabeth Corliss, Patti Estrella and husband Billy, Claire Coulombe, Theresa Oldham, and Joseph Corliss Jr. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Debbie attended Vacaville High School in Vacaville, CA and enjoyed many family adventures as a young girl on cross country trips; visiting some favorites like Yosemite National Park, the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and Carlsbad Caverns.
A loving mother, Debbie enjoyed spending time with friends and family, reminiscing and laughing- always with a smile on her face. She inherited a love of baking from her mother and made the best peanut butter cookies. Debbie loved 60’s rock and roll and was a lifelong Beatles fan, often listening to their records for hours on repeat. Debbie truly lived life her way, enjoying the simple pleasures.
Debbie loved children and was a caregiver for many years. Prior to retiring, she worked for Aramark Food Services at Wheaton College.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 6 from 9-11am at Boston Cremation, 115 Main Street, Mansfield, MA.
