Douglas A. Johnson
Douglas A. Johnson of Mansfield, passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 58. He was the loving companion of Colleen Baker for 26 years.
Born in Brockton he was the son of Barbara Johnson and the late Kenneth Johnson.
He attended Brockton High school and worked for many years doing landscaping, siding and installing doors and windows. He was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. He was an avid Patriots fan who also enjoyed motorcycling, bike riding with his family and taking trips to Parsonsfield, Maine and Cape Cod.
In addition to Colleen, he is survived by his children Cortney, Brian, Keith and Kenny. He was a loving Papa of grandchildren Kylee and Brielle. He is also survived by his brother Ken and his wife Kathy, a sister Lynn Madigan and her husband Sean; many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Doug’s life will take place at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 900 Main Street Brockton, MA 02301 on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 12:00 PM in the vestry (lower level).

My deepest condolences to the extended family of Doug. Doug and I weren’t always in constant contact with one another, but whenever we did catch up, it was like no time had passed at all. Doug was the definition of a free spirit with a zest for life.
