Esperanza Celebrado


Esperanza Celebrado, 75 years of age, passed early morning on January 29th 2019 at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Her wake service will be held on Thursday, January 31st between 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Boston Cremation Funeral Home on 287 Main Street Malden, MA. Burial service will be held on Friday morning, February 1st, 2019 at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Esperanza in Spanish, means “Hope”. She battled cancer; always showcasing her strength as a fighter. After coming to the States from the Philippines to create a better life for her family, she was a hard worker and always put her family first. Esperanza was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She was a loving and caring person, a devoted mother and friend. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, singing Karaoke, laughing and always wore a smile that could brighten the room as she become the life of the party. She also enjoyed helping her sister and her best friend, Susana Celebrado.
Esperanza is survived by her loving and cherished children, Jennifer Banwait and Joel Floranza; 4 grandchildren: Katrina, Justin, Matthew and Milana; 2 great-grandchildren: Kingsley and Bentley Floranza. She will be truly missed.
