Eston Lee Carter
Eston Lee Carter, age 76, passed away on April 9, 2019, after a
valiant battle with cancer. His kind, loving nature and belief in God
supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Eston was
born in Edenton, North Carolina on July 12, 1942. He is predeceased by
his mother, Gladis Carter and father, Russell Carter, his sons,
Gregory Carter, Anthony Carter and Kevin Toland, and siblings, Julius
Carter, Willis Carter, Kramer Carter, James Carter, Haywood Carter,
Mattie Carter, and Sarah Carter Maddred. Eston is survived by his
children, Tony Carter, Yvette Carter, Wayne Carter, Ronald Carter,
Ervonn Carter, Carlos Carter, Jason Toland, and Jasmine Carter;
sister, Jean Carter; brother, Siraaj Qareeb Karim; spouse of 21 years,
Tina Toland; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Eston fully
enjoyed his life, family members and many friends. He was always there
to brighten the lives of others and will truly be missed.

Funeral Service will be held at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne,
MA on Wednesday April 24th at 1:15pm. A celebration of Eston’s life
will be held at the Mezza Luna Restaurant (253 Main Street, Buzzards
Bay, MA 02532) following the funeral service. Please RSVP for the
reception with Jasmine Carter ASAP.
