Ethel A. Flynn, 88 of Somerville, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2012 after a brief illness. “Flynny” was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and immmigrated to the US in 1952. Flynny worked primarily in the health care industry and was known to all her for her kindness, dedication and sharp sense of humor. Our mom, our nana, was a wonderful woman who always gave of herself and will be truly missed by family and friends. Mom was predeceased by her daughter, Aileen Leone, and is survived by her children, Brian Flynn, Dorothy Sparks, Linda Flynn and Susan Schiappa as well as 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A private celebration of mom’s life will be held this weekend.
