Fay V. Bell

Fay V. Bell, 80, of Ashburnham passed away Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 at Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland. She was born on November 25th, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Norman F. and Mildred Fullam Bell. She graduated from high school and attended college in Boston. She retired as a schoolteacher from the North Reading school system. Over the years she lived in Roslindale, Billerica and Wakefield , Massachusetts. After her retirement she moved into her cottage by the water in Ashburnham where she enjoyed the company she received, her two cats, Inky and Smoky, and her favorite team, the Red Sox. For several years she volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program and the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats. She also enjoyed traveling with her friends Irene and Katie Roberti and Rita Farrell and was able to visit many places both in and outside of the US. She is survived by her half-brother Greg Bell and his wife Edie of Whitefield, New Hampshire and her nieces Amanda and Courtney. She was very close with her cousins, James, Robert, Paul and Daniel Binns and Judi Jones. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Stoughton Massachusetts.
