Frances (Carcerano) Frate, 96, passed away peacefully at Medford Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Monday, April 15. She was a long time resident of Medford, MA after moving from Boston’s North End in 1955. She had a full life of many joys. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Frate. She leaves behind her son Louis Frate of Florida, and was pre-deceased by her son Joseph Frate of Medford. In addition to her son Louis, she is survived by 7 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, High Street, Medford MA.
