Frederick J. Leonard Sr.
After a courageous one year battle with cancer, Frederick James Leonard Sr., of Hull died at home with his family by his side on February 12, 2024 at the age of 62.
Fred was a long-time resident of Hull, MA with his wife of 42 years. He was employed by Cullen Mechanical at Bentley College doing HVAC work. He could frequently be found driving his 1985 Pontiac Fiero around town or in Boston Harbor with a fishing rod in hand. Fred loved to spend time with his family and friends and was always looking to lend a hand to those when needed.
Fred was born to the late Francis E. Leonard Sr. and Mrytle (Patterson) Leonard in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was the beloved husband of Nancy E. (Beshansky) Leonard. Loving father of Ellen (Leonard) Atherton and husband Brian, Frederick Leonard Jr. and wife Jessica. Brother of Lillian Barbetta, Robert W. Leonard and Dennis P. Leonard, and the late Francis E. Leonard Jr., Richard A. Leonard, and sister Susan (Leonard) Treumper. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

What a guy! A giant gentleman and my big brother at Bentley. Always a helping hand, great conversation and had my back like a big brother would! I miss the echoes of his big voice on campus. I miss his stories of cars, music and his love for his wife and kids. He was a proud family guy ❤️ Till we meet again my big friend, we’ll have two heavenly martinis and flip cancer the bird!
