Helen Bartoszewicz


MALDEN: Helen Bartoszewicz, 93, of Malden passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was born the daughter of the late Felix and Christana (Masselli) Lubin. Her beloved husband, Frederick Bartoszewicz, predeceased her in 1995. Helen, a devoted mother, is survived by her daughter, Paula Webb and her huband Richard of Illinois and her son, Joseph Bartoszewicz and his companion Sydney-Anne Hood; proud grandmother and “Babcia” of 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was the cherished sister of the late, John Lubin, Stanley Lubin, Gladys Zabierek, Jennie Pazyra and Anthony Lubin.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:00AM in Sacred Heart Church, 297 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148 with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Friends are invited to gather from 8:30AM-10:00AM at Boston Cremation, 287 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148 to Celebrate Helen’s life with words of remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hallmark Health Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 178 Savin Street, Suite 300, Malden, MA 02148.

    I am sorry for your loss. I will always cherish holiday memories with family in Malden. When my Babcia passed I always looked to her as an example of my Babcia’s family and their traditions. She will be missed by many.

    Ciacia Helen was the last of a generation and she will be missed. She was a wonderful cook and always welcomed visitors with a plate of goodies and a cup of coffee. My the family always remember the happy memories that will stay in your heart. Loving thoughts.
