Helen Cocuzzo
Helen Doris Cocuzzo (BUCCI)
Helen Doris (Bucci) Cocuzzo, passed away after a fifteen year battle with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma on September 4, 2014 at the age of 78.
Born October 30, 1935, she was a lifelong resident of Malden, Ma. She was a member of Woman’s Health Initiative, Arts Council Corp, and Cooking Club of America. Before retirement, she previously worked for High Country Investments at the Hilltop Steak House, Melrose Orthopedic Surgery, Electric Specialty, Tri Cap and was a CNA for Dexter House in Malden. She also volunteered for the Mystic Valley Services.
As a sole provider for her family, she was also a loyal and faithful Jehovah’s Witness dedicated in 1970. She was the daughter of the late Columbus Anthony Bucci and Olympia DeFranzo Bucci. Sister to the late Anthony Bucci, Mary Cannizaro, Esther Girolamo, James Bucci, Anne Freitas, Rita Bucci, Agnes Depiano, Joseph J. Bucci. She leaves behind her sister Eleanor Pace of West Peabody.
She was recognized for her many talents in music, art, baking and cooking and her love for the Ocean.
Mother of six children, Marie Capone (John), Peter Romeo (Shashi), Paul Romeo (Debra), Joanne
Rodgers (and the late James P. Rodgers), Thomas Cocuzzo II (Maryellen), and the late Sandra Cocuzzo.
Grandmother to Julie and Amanda Capone, Megan Beaudoin (Thomas), Courtney Heron (Glenn), Brittany Bosse (Stephane), Paul Romeo Jr., Janelle, Thomas III, Julia, and Mario Cocuzzo.
Great Grandmother to Ryan and Lilianna Beaudoin, Jaydon Romeo, Drake and Jaxon Heron.
She was truly loved and will be missed.
