Herbert N. Roberts, of Rose Street, Revere, died on August 31, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He was 82. Born in Lynn, he grew up in Revere and attended Revere High School. He was the husband of Virginia Roberts, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage. They have lived on Rose Street since 2002. Mr. Roberts was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He received several medals for his service. He was a life member and past commander of the Beachmont VFW Post 6712. Mr. Roberts worked in the food produce industry. He liked spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Roberts also leaves a sister, Bernice, of Beverly, a nephew, Evan and his wife, of Beverly, and a nephew, Paul, and his wife and family, of Connecticut, a granddaughter, Molly D’Amico, of Low
