Hunter Steven Frederickson

Hunter Steven Frederickson, born on September 6, 1990, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly
on November 4, 2024 at the age of 34.

Hunter was a lifelong resident of Lynnfield, MA. He attended Lynnfield public schools and he
graduated cum laude from Franklin Pierce University with a dual major in Environmental Science
and Biology.

He enjoyed computer gaming, and he built his own computers. He was a hobbyist who loved
collecting and building figurines.

He also loved animals. He cared for two shelter cats, Colby and Chedder, who are still on this earth
because of his care and who miss him terribly.

He was affectionately known as a contrarian. Family gatherings found him lightheartedly taking
the opposite side of every viewpoint, from politics to pets (“cats are so much better than dogs”).

Hunter was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His all too
brief journey on this earth was one marked by love and compassion and a sense of humor.
Everything seemed to come easy in life to Hunter, except for life itself.

We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for
the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Hunter is survived by his loving and proud but heartbroken parents, Steven and Janet, his brother
Tyler, brother Cody, and sister Kelley. He also leaves behind aunts uncles and cousins who adored
him dearly. He was predeceased by his grandmothers Eleanor DeCosta and Alice Frederickson,
and his uncle Bart and aunt Sue. We pray that they will be reunited in heaven.

Although Hunter’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his beautiful spirit will live in
our hearts forever. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and
compassion in all that we do.

The Frederickson family wishes to thank all those who reached out in the past few weeks. Your
support has meant the world to us all and it has given us strength.

There will be no services. His parents and siblings will grieve, celebrate, and remember in private,
and forever.
