Our Father passed when Jim was 14 yrs old. After graduating high school Jim moved out, determined to make his own way in life.

Jim was independent, honest, decent, generous and above all: a loyal family man.

He battled cancer for 36 years, in a most admirable manner.

We thank the Lord that he lived as long as he did.

    Adios James – Well Done.

We helped each other with projects and he would go out of his way to make sure I was ok. He joined many family events and supported me during my mother’s passing. I met Jim at a widows meeting we both struggled over our losses. Jim and I spent a lot of time together and became companions. He was such a gentleman and a caring person who went out of his way for me fixing things around the house or making sure I was ok. He joined me with many family events and supported me during the loss of my mother. He had gone through so much himself battling cancer in the past and caring for his wife while ill until she passed. We both went through a lot dealing with our spouses having MS. I miss my partner so much. May you Rest In Peace and no longer have to suffer.
    Love,
    Claire Rague

Dearest Aunt Claire and Cousins Tom and John,

I just heard the sad news of Jim’s passing. I hadn’t seen or been in touch with him since the mid 1970’s but, back in the day, his Uncle Dave (my Dad) kept me updated on “The Hendrickson Boys”. He loved them all. I have many fond memories of my sister and I visiting our Cousins. Jim and I were the same age. They would often visit us in Pt Pleasant, too and, Uncle Billy and my Dad would take us kids out boating on Uncle Billy’s boat! We would visit them often and play ping pong and record albums in the basement or ride bikes in the neighborhood streets.
    Simpler Times, Treasured Memories.
    Rest Easy Cousin Jim.
    Love, Ginny Sivil Bayliss
