Jeanette (Akoury) Folsom

Jeanette (Akoury) Folsom of Quincy, Massachusetts, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, passed away at age 92 on Saturday, December 10, 2022 after a period of declining health. She was born on July 18, 1930 in Quincy.
Jeanette was preceded by her brothers James and Naif Akoury and sister Helen Corkery.
Jeanette was a devoted Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph’s in Quincy Point. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking her Lebanese mother’s recipes.
Jeanette is survived by her husband of 68 years, George Folsom, as well as her daughter Judy Folsom Roberts of North Easton, Massachusetts and son Christopher Folsom of Conway, New Hampshire and his wife Valerie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Amanda Folsom, Maria Folsom and Jonathan Roberts.

We’ve lost a devoted and loving friend who will always be remembered for her good nature and kindness. We enjoyed sharing many happy times cruising and celebrating special occasions at Lombardo’s. We’ll miss our telephone conversations (which were many and always informative.
