Jeanette O. (Lacey) McCarthy, of Malden, passed peacefully on September 2nd, after a brief illness. She as 92 years old. Born in Medford on 11/12/1928 to Henry A. Lacey and Jessie (Anthony) Lacey of Medford.

Jeanette graduated from Medford HS in 1945, became a model for the Rogers Model Agency of Boston, which led to her modeling for Kakas Furs under the name of Jan Field. She would later work for the First National Bank as a switchboard operator and for the Department of Mental Health.

Jeanette was predeceased by siblings Dorothy Brandon of CA, George Lacey of CA, Milton Lacey of FL, and David Lacey of MA. She leaves many nieces and nephews across the country. A private service and burial will be held September 17th, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford MA.
