Jeanne Shattuck (nee Principato), 72, of Malden passed away August 25 after a long illness. She is survived by her son, William McCaffrey of Boxford. She was the beloved sister of the late Lillian Buckley of Wilmington and is survived her brother-in-law Neil Buckley of North Reading, sister Marilyn and brother-in-law Fritz Himmelsbach of Sarasota Florida, and brother John Principato of Fort Lauderdale. She is also survived by her nieces Patricia Hersey and family of Newburyport, Karen Kennedy and family of Wilmington, and nephews Michael Buckley of Sarasota, Christopher and Steven Himmelsbach and families of Zug, Switzerland and many beloved friends. She was a life-long teacher at Wakefield High School and loved by her many students. She was also an avid tennis player, reader, and adult English-language tutor. A celebratory gathering will be held at St. Malachy’s Church Hall, in Burlington at noon on Saturday August 29.
