Joan F. Graffeo of Somerville, MA and formerly of Lee’s Summit, MO died on April 30, 2015 at the Kaplan Hospice in Danvers, MA. Joanie was the beloved daughter of the late Kathleen Lauretano. Dear sister of Jerry Lauretano and his wife Maureen of Somerville. She was the beloved aunt of Danae Lauretano Kristiansen of Somerville and her daughters Brenna and Ella. Joanie is survived by many friends who loved her dearly. Joanie worked as a barber and real estate agent. She had retired as a supervisor at Unity Village in Missouri. To Joanie’s family … I had the privilege of being Joanie’s friend for over 20 years and lived with her for several years. We had a soul sister connection from the beginning when we met at Unity Village. She was an angel to me in so many ways – we had great times together. Though I miss her physically, our friendship, love and her wonderful spirit remain. My condolences to all of you. Blessings of peace.
