Joan “Joni” Tulis (Davidson) of Woburn, Massachusetts died peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Wilmington, Massachusetts on August 11, 2017. She was 74.

Joan is survived by her eldest daughter, Lisa Fink (Genest) of Florida and her children, Tracy, Jenna, Bradley and Jaime, her son Garth Genest of Long Beach, California and her youngest daughter, Susan Griffiths (Tulis) and her husband, Dennis and her granddaughter Gracie Kasandra Griffiths of Danville, New Hampshire. Dearly loved daughter to the late John and Ruth Davidson of Wakefield, Massachusetts. Beloved sister to Patricia Seymour of Saugus, Massachusetts, the late Susan Chase and late John “Jack” Davidson.

Joan was born on July 9, 1943 in Melrose, Massachusetts. She graduated from Wakefield High School in 1961 where she enjoyed being a Majorette. She was very proud to earn a Bachelor’s Degree with highest honors from Northeastern University. She also worked diligently to complete the LPN program at Lawrence Memorial School of Nursing in 1997. She was an excellent nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Joan lovingly spent the last thirteen years with her significant other, William “Billy” Rose in Woburn, Massachusetts.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Saint Charles Church, Woburn, Massachusetts. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Joan’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
