Joan Mary (Ford) Pelletier
Joan Mary (Ford) Pelletier died peacefully at home on August 10, 2016 in Peabody, MA at the age of 89.
Joan is survived by her children, Barbara (Cottle), Arlene (McCourt), Janice (Pray), Deborah (Dyke), David Pelletier, Denise (Mills), Lisa (Branco) and James Pelletier, her 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving Husband Emile C. Pelletier and her grandson Michael L’Heureux.
Joan was born on March 10, 1927 in Stamford Lincolnshire England to Herbert Ford and Ethel Mae (Foster) Ford. She was the first war bride to arrive in Salem in 1945 with her new husband Emile C Pelletier.
A funeral is scheduled for August 13, 2016 at The Church of Christ (409 Upham St. Melrose, MA) at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow. Pastor Tony Black will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Joan’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Care Dimensions Hospice at 75 Sylan St. Danvers, MA 01923.
