John Howard Ellison, Sr.


John Howard Ellison, Sr., of Everett, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness. He was 83 years old.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ellen L. (Burt) Ellison, after 56 years of marriage; John was the loving father to his sons, Kenneth Eric Ellison of Everett, MA and Michael Nicholas Ellison and his wife Christine Ellison of Everett, MA; his loving daughter, Kimberly Smith Wing of Tewksbury, MA; his daughter-in- law Amanda Alves of Malden, MA; his adored grandchildren, Gill, Isibella, Pedro, Sophie, Karliee, Michael, Taren, and Sean; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John was predeceased by his son, John Howard Ellison, Jr.

All are invited to join in a Celebration of John’s Life on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 9-noon at Boston Cremation, 287 Main Street, Malden, MA.
