    Ann Marie and Family,
It has been a very long time since I last saw Jack, but I remember him fondly from when we were all kids on Harvard St. I offer you my deepest condolences and I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Sullivan family, I was saddened to learn of Jackie’s passing. I owe him so much. Jack got me my job at the Boston globe in 1979 and I am still here 36 years later. I could never thank him enough for speaking up for me at the Globe. I’m the only one left of all the guys we worked with still working at the globe. But I can tell you that Jack was very well liked and a great guy to work with. Thanks again Jack and rest in peace. my friend.
