They don’t make men like John anymore. He is one of a kind. I was privileged to have known him for a short time. His smile alone inspired 3 fire departments to build a ramp and help paint his home. The love he displayed for his wife Judy, grandchildren and even his cat truly moved me. Thank you for reminding me how precious life is everyday and for truly making a positive impact on my life.
John you will be missed, but we all know you are suffering no more and that you are at peace. Prayers for your family are being sent.
We are so sorry for your loss. It was wonderful to have been seated with you both at the reunion breakfast. We enjoyed talking with him and you. RIP brave man!
Dear Judy and family,
Mary and I send our condolences and love. I knew John for since Jr High (more than 50 yrs) and he was a great classmate, a good friend and business associate. He was a warm, and genuine human being. I am happy for him that the no win battle is finally over, as sad as this is. We’ll see him again on the other side, and I look forward to that time. Love you guys.

Oh Jen,
I will never forget the loving devotion your father showed for you and Steve and your girls. Always so cheerful and so dedicated to you. He was gracious and kind and oh so adoring. Every recital, every performance, he was there with his smile and support.
When you told me he was diagnosed with ALS, my heart hurt knowing what he and you all would have to endure. He seemed to handle it with such grace. I am glad he is at peace now, although he was taken way too early. I am so so sorry for your loss. Please give our love to Judy, Steve, Sophia, Gaby and Zoe
John thanks for all the financial advice. I heeded it and now I am living the life. Thank you. Fair Winds and Safe Havens. Howard

Judy,we had many laughs and adventures with John as you all coped with such grace the many challenges of ALS. He always made us want to go the extra mile for him because of his humorous good natured efforts to make the most of his remaining abilities. He will be sorely missed.
