Joseph A. Migliaccio
Joseph A. Migliaccio, 83, of Hingham, Massachusetts (formerly of Cohasset, MA), passed away on September 12, 2024, at South Shore Hospital. Born on May 25, 1941, he was a lifelong resident of Cohasset, Massachusetts.
Joseph was the cherished husband of Edwina Migliaccio (Rice) now of Plymouth, MA, and a loving father to daughters Barbara E. Migliaccio, Kathy Muir (Dan) of Plymouth, Deb (Andrews) O’Connell and husband David of Plymouth, and Roberta Andrews of Lakewood Ranch, FL. His grandchildren, Timothy Muir of Plymouth, Teri Muir of Pembroke, and Dylan O’Connell of Plymouth and three great grandchildren Laila, Bailey, and Brielle. He was the son of the late Joseph Migliaccio and the late Mary (Grassie) Migliaccio of Cohasset. He was predeceased by his brother Paul L. Migliaccio (2023). Joe was also survived by his sister-in-law Betty Ann, and many other cousins, nieces & nephews. Joseph was a graduate of Cohasset High School. In 1960 he was one of the early employees of the Boston Whaler Manufacturing Plant in Rockland, MA working there for over 10 years. He was member of Teamsters LU No. 653 for 35+ years as a Commercial Truck Driver with Southeastern Concrete until his retirement in 2004. He also owned and operated Cohasset Boat Transportation for many years. Joe had a passion for helping others, he enjoyed fishing out of Cohasset Harbor, first in his blue Novi lobster boat and in later years his boat named Sandpiper. He loved tending to his yard on Ripley Road with meticulous care. He generously donated his time to the Cohasset Call Fire Department and the Scituate Rod and Gun Club, contributing significantly to both organizations.

A burial service will be held at Woodside Cemetery in Cohasset on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
