Katherine Marguerite Shea


October 28, 1947 – January 13, 2019

Katherine Marguerite Shea entered her eternal Rest In Peace on Sunday, January 13, 2019, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 28, 1947 in New York, New York to Jean Gibbs and Lynn Searles.

She was survived by; Her sons, Robert Kulch (Samira) of Waltham MA, Christopher Young (Alyson) of Cottonwood Heights, UT, Brain Shea of Pembroke and her daughter Krystel Gagnon of Waltham, MA; Daniel Gagnon of Concord NH, good friend Ellen Gagnon of Venice, FL, Brother Lynn Searles (Skip); Grandchildren Isaiah, Elijah, Maya, Samantha, Dylan, Christopher, Caellum, Layla, Ryan and Grayson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was an avid dog lover and had and had an affinity for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Kate would light any room she entered with her boisterous personality. Anyone in need could always count on her being there for him or her.

Viewing only will be held on Friday January 18, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Boston Cremation located at 278 Main Street Malden, MA 02148. Family, Friends and others whose lives Kate touched are invited for a Celebration of Life immediately following the viewing at the Chateau located at 195 School Street Waltham, MA 02451.

In lieu of flowers, loved ones may make a gift in Katherine Shea’s memory to Good Shepherd Community Care 90 Wells Avenue Newton, MA 02459
