Kevin C. Grant (1948-2023)

Kevin C. Grant, 74, of Vero Beach, FL , formally of Mansfield , MA, passed away unexpectantly on April 7, 2023.

Kevin was born to Wilmon and Mary Grant of South Boston, MA on July 10, 1948. He graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in 1966 before enlisting with the US Navy. Serving 3 years before being Honorably Discharged.

On December 6, 1969, at age 21, Kevin married his wife of 53 years, Linda Donovan, age 19 at the time, of Braintree, MA.  They met at a very young age at a BC High School Dance.

Throughout his life, Kevin wore many hats and had many accomplishments. In his professional journey he worked for the New England Phone Company for 35 years, before he retired. After moving to Florida in 2000, Kevin realized he had more to give and began work at the Vero Beach Police Department as a dispatch officer. He worked there for 10 years before moving on to his final endeavor as the Head Croquet Instructor for the Moorings Yacht Club in Vero Beach, FL.  I should add he was Croquet Master #54 in the entire country. A fact, Kevin was proud of.

In 2020 he was diagnosed with Cancer and valiantly fought and beat his diagnosis.

Kevin was predeceased by his Parents Wilmon and Mary Grant and his brothers, Bill and Phillip.

He is survived by his wife Linda; son Brian; daughters Eileen Marsh and Laura Kelcourse; his sisters, Mary Davenport, Patricia Hurley and Madonna Davey; As well as his beloved Granddaughters, Ashley Grant, Haley Bonin, Emily Bonin and Piper Marsh and his only Grandson, Greyson Marsh.
