Lakshmi Mullahoo Garro
Lakshmi Mullahoo Garro was a loving woman, mother, grandmother, sister, partner and friend. She left this world suddenly on June 14, 2021 at age 63.
She was born to Earl and Sylvia on May 17, 1958 in New York and spent her childhood in Trinidad and Tobago with younger siblings Shastri and Indrani. After graduating high school, Lakshmi pursued a career at Digital Corporation where she met several lifelong friends. She selflessly changed paths to raise 3 children: Seth, Vashti and Asha.
Lakshmi loved sharing recipes, listening to soulful music, watching Christian television and spending time with her partner Timo. Her home was filled with little trinkets and a warm, welcoming ambiance. She was a kind and gentle woman.
Following her wishes, a small, intimate gathering with family will take place at a later date in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Cambridge YWCA Tanner Residence.

I will remember your kind and gentle soul, Lakshmi. RIP
Lakshmi you will be missed. I know we haven’t seen each other in a while, but I always did and was thinking about you.
Seth, Vashti and Asha you will always be in my heart. I have always thought of you as one of my own child. Always keep in touch with your other family, they all love you.
She is not gone, she’s home. Continue remembering and talking 2 her while she’s in another room from us. Eternally Rest in the Hands of Our Loving God Lakshmi, where there is no pain, hurt, sorrow or unrest anymore, just back w/ Our Only First True Love, JESUS CHRIST…

I thank all of you who held her close to your heart. I die every day without her. We did not text to keep in touch. We verbally spent time together. Seth,Vashti and Asha should know their mother through the intimacy she had with others. I am open to all. I hold close Autumn, Myrtle Garro. You were so good to not just Lakshmi but me as well. Lakshmi and I love you all.
