Laurel Mary Weiss (McWade) February 22, 1945 – July 15, 2012. Longtime resident of New Port Richey, FL. Mary was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Mary spent the last couple of months alongside her daughter and son in-law in their Everett home courageously fighting a battle with cancer. She was one of two children born to the late Edward and Katherine Weiss, and was the beloved sister to Ed Weiss of Eugene, Oregon. Mary will be forever missed and remembered by her devoted daughter Kathleen McWade Leavitt and son in-law Joseph Leavitt of Everett, MA along with many close friends and family who were blessed to know her. Mary retired after 35 years of nursing in which she was truly dedicated. In addition, Mary spent her past-time volunteering for many charities in Pasco County, FL. Those who knew Mary know she was a kind natured and giving soul and found joy helping those who needed help the most. She will be greatly missed.
