January 8, 1943 ~ March 18, 2023

Lois Lorraine Polito of Revere, MA, passed peacefully on Saturday,
March 18, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 80 years old. Born and raised in East Boston, MA, Lois had four beautiful children. Her family relocated to Revere in the early 90’s. Her happiest moments included time spent with her family and in recent years, her great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy (Oliver) and
John Fawcett Sr; Her son, Richard B. Polito; Brothers, John Fawcett Jr. and
Robert Fawcett Sr.; Sisters, Janice McCarthy and Dorothy Morovitz; Sister-in-law,Sophie Fawcett.

Lois is greatly missed and survived by, her devoted husband, George
Dioguardi, with whom she spent 53 loving years. Children, Jennifer Olson (Greg)
of Lynn, Ma, Brian Polito (Maria) of New York, and Douglas Polito of Florida; Grandchildren,
Michelle Kirchofer, Steven Rutherford, Christina Cantillo, Stefanie Polito,
Robert Polito, Hannah Olson, Emma Polito and Holli Polito, whom Lois adopted
and raised since age one, Great-grandchildren, Brendan, Marianna, Riley,
Carter, Cambree, Gavin, Lorelai and Kalliope; Her dedicated sister,
Susan (Albert) Morgante of Saugus; Brother, Richard (Mary) Fawcett of Maynard; Sister
in law, Jackie Fawcett of Boxford; Brother in laws, Timothy McCarthy of East
Boston and Lester Morovitz of Lynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service to honor, Lois, that will be held in Boston Cremation, 287 Main Street, Malden, Ma from 10:00am-12:00pm on Thursday March 30th , 2023.

Following the service, there will be a celebration of life at the Knights of Columbus, 570 North Avenue, Wakefield from 1:30-4:30 pm.  Please bring all of your happiest memories and stories to share.
