Lorence Acorn, 85

Lorence Acorn, 85 passed away December 5th 2022 surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. 

Born in Montague Prince Edward Island. He lived in Quincy for many years before moving to Stoughton. He held many jobs over the years but his true passion was in the automotive field. He was an avid cribbage player, enjoyed camping and working on all types of small engines in his garage, buying his weekly scratch tickets  watching Western movies and Ice road truckers and listening to Country Music.

Lorence got the most pleasure from being around his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his cat Mittens.Lorence was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years Diane (Biagini)  also survived by his daughter Joyce Derbes and her husband Frank, son Ronald and his wife Carrie, son Stephen and his wife Janelle. Grandfather of Amanda, Morgan, Frankie, Joseph, Edward, Aaron and Billy.Great grandfather of Mckenzie,Shane, Declan and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral arrangements made by Boston Cremation 116 Franklin St Quincy MA 02169Visiting hours will be Friday Dec 9th from 9am-11am.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Autism Speaks or the multiple Sclerosis Society.
