It still doesn’t even feel real. There is so much I wish I could’ve told you. You were the kindest and most loving person I have ever met and who knows where I would be without you taking me in and raising me. I love you so much Grammy and we will see each other again someday ❤️
My son, Michael sent this to me….I am shocked……It has been a while since I saw Margie, She was my neighbor for a number of years, when Jill and Jennifer were growing up. A lovely woman with a beautiful smile and heart. Condolences to her family. May she soar with the angels, and rest in the arms of her God, near His heart. And may her family have strength to get through the difficult days ahead…….Rose and Jack DiRuzza……
Marji was a true life-long friend, and whenever we got together, it was pure fun. She loved golf, Irish music, country line dancing, travel, and a good old-fashioned chat. What I will remember most and loved best about Marji was her warm sense of humour … and the laughter. We shared lots of both over the years. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. For now … it is Goodbye old friend … until we meet again!

Farewell to a dear sweet friend. So many fun memories growing up on “the hill”. We were very lucky to have a place where everyone gathered to play games until we all got called in for supper. Red rover, tag, hide and seek, alleveo (remember that game). Friends around the area would join us. A few arguments about rules of the games but for the most part we all just wanted to run around and play. Those were the days.
Through the years we would catch up on the hill when I came back to visit my parents or my sister Susan. I loved our conversations about growing up together. So many laughs.
You were always so very good to my parents. They loved when you walked through the door for a wee visit. A very dear friend to my sister Maggie. Best friends since the age of 9 or 10. Always had each other’s back. I know it will be hard for her without you. Somehow I think you will find a way to let her know you are still there for her.
You will be missed by so many of us. I hope I will always take the time when I am on the hill to look around and remember all the memories we made together.
Rest In Peace my neighbor. I love you.
I echo the messages about what a fun loving friend you were to the new kid from Minnesota showing me the Best thrift stores- lobster rolls and beaches on the Cape.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand until we meet again
