Paul Foley

Paul Foley, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 87. He was the son of Emmet and Clara Foley. Devoted brother of his late siblings Margaret (Broderick), Richard and Harold “Bud” Foley. He also leaves behind his 12 beloved nieces nephews and their families. Paul was born and raised in the Oak Square area of Brighton. He served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Paul retired as chief building inspector for the city of Newton in 1988. An avid sports fan, Paul enjoyed golf and worked as a starter at Newton Commonwealth G.C. for many years in his retirement.
A celebration of his life will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6:00-9:00om at Paddy’s Public House, 95 Elm Street, West Newton, MA. All are welcome to attend.

    The staff at the Scandinavian Living Center was honored that Paul spent the last month of his life here. He was a lovely man who we enjoyed interacting with. He rarely complained, had a wonderful disposition and was a real gentleman. He seemed to appreciate all of us. We will miss him.
