Paul LaCourse

Paul LaCourse, 75, of Foxboro, MA, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021. Paul was
born in Chicago, IL on August 30, 1946 to the late Lawrence and Ruth (Doody) LaCourse. He
moved to Massachusetts in his twenties.
A skilled machinist, Paul worked at Bird Machine (later Baker Hughes Corp.) for over 30 years
until they closed their doors. He was then a machinist with Payne Engineering until his
retirement in 2017. Paul enjoyed machinery as a hobby as well and enjoyed working with
metal. He was an all around creative person who was also talented with woodworking and
building. In addition, Paul repaired small engines and taught small engine repair for a short
time. He enjoyed figuring out how things worked. Paul was a loving father and grandfather who
liked animals and nature, and enjoyed going to the casino, shooting pool, gardening, watching
old westerns, classic television, music, and spending time with his family. In his last years, he
looked forward to time spent going for rides with his son. He was a kind person with a good
heart who will be missed by many, especially his family.
Paul leaves a daughter, Paulette Perrotty and her husband Bernard of Somerset; a son,
Christopher LaCourse of Foxboro; grandchildren Calvin and Chloe Perrotty of Somerset; a
sister, Diane Rauscher of Hillsboro, MO, brothers Gary LaCourse of Attleboro, MA and Jeffrey
LaCourse of Hillsboro, MO; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late
David LaCourse and Lawrence LaCourse, and uncle to the late Lawrence LaCourse, Jr. and
great nephew Alex Morgan.
Arrangements are private. A celebration of life for Paul will be held at a later date.
Dad, we will miss you always.
