Now that I can be just Uncle Ray’s niece- Let me tell you about my “Goofy”. He had the craziest smile, smoked like a chimney, drank like a fish and had a heart of gold. He told an occasional dirty joke and was the first to come a running whenever I need ANYTHING and ANYTIME he needed me I was the first to go running back. He was not perfect far from it as a matter of fact BUT when we had the opportunity to just sit and cuddle, watch a couple of shows (LIKE BIG BANG THEORY) and share special times it was awesome. I will always have the memories of knowing in the last moments of his time here I made the right decision to have him brought to the Kaplan House where he was safe, not in pain, and with family as he entered into heaven to meet his 7 sisters and 3 brothers and God help St. Peter when the Porter crew starts to party !!! I Thank God everyday for my family and friends no matter who they are in this life, the value of these relationships are worth more than all the money in this world. RIP my beloved Goofy — I LOVE YOU TOO!!
