Richard A. “Ricky” Cabral


SAUGUS: Richard A. “Ricky” Cabral, 43, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 19, 2021. He is survived by his mother Roberta Cabral of Saugus; his wife Lisa Rzepka-Cabral of Edison, NJ; his daughter Guilliana Cabral and 6 step children from Edison, NJ; his brother Shawn Cabral and his wife Darlene of Peabody; his sister Marissa Bohyer and her husband Aaron of Springfield, MO; along with several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His father Richard A. Cabral and his brother Jonathan Cabral both predeceased him.

Ricky was born in Boston and raised in Everett, where he graduated Everett High School. His love of music led him to work as a DJ throughout the Boston nightclubs, weddings and proms with his cousins Richard and Jeremy. An avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, baseball was his favorite sport. Ricky coached the Everett Huskies football team and the Cal Ripken Little League baseball team.

He had a big heart, he was compassionate and had a genuine love and desire to help everyone and expressed this through community outreach to help so many people in need. Ricky spent countless hours working with Adult & Teen Challenge of Greater Boston for many years. Anyone who knew Ricky, knows he always treated you with respect and he was a loyal son, husband, father, brother and friend to all.

All are invited to attend his visiting hours on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove Street, Lynnfield, MA 01940 from 11am-12:00pm with a Celebration of Richard’s life to begin at 12:00pm. Burial will be private.
