Robert “Bob” Kafka
Robert “Bob” Kafka, age 62, passed away on June 8, 2024, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers MA. Born on January 28, 1962, in Meriden, Connecticut, Bob spent his youth in both Connecticut and Louisiana before settling in the North Shore of Massachusetts in the mid-1990s. He had a deep affection for the Salem/Beverly area.
Bob was a Jack of all trades, excelling as a marine mechanic and also owning his own moving company. He had a passion for animals, the NFL, especially the New England Patriots, and enjoyed games like Poker and Cribbage. Quick-witted and friendly, Bob never shied away from striking up a conversation with anyone, making numerous connections along the way.
Bob is survived by his children, various aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will dearly miss him. He touched many lives with his warm personality and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Care Dimensions deserves special recognition for their exceptional care and support during Bob’s time of need. Their dedication and support will always be treasured.
No memorial services are planned at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lifebridge in honor of Bob Kafka.
