Robert C. Sheperd Sr.
Robert C. Sheperd Sr., 72, of Greenfield on November 13, 2016 died peacefully with his family around him.
He was the husband of Karen Sheperd, father of Robert Jr., the late Jennifer McLoud Griffin, and Johanna Sheperd; grandfather of Robert Sheperd III, Linda Sheperd, Natalie Sheperd, Katherine Sheperd, Kayla Deteso, Christopher Sheperd, and Tiffany Sheperd; brother of Edwin Sheperd, and the late Ethel and Irene Sheperd; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert worked as a truck mechanic for International Garage, and as a auto mechanic for Sweeney Ford. He then worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for the Town of Montague until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, photography, and animals and loved raising roses.
A memorial service will be held Dec. 3 at 10:30am at The Living Waters Church, 450 Davis Street, Greenfield.
