Giltrap, Ronald Patrick, of Malden, formerly of Athy, County Kildare, Ireland, died March 16th, 2025, aged 83.  He emigrated from Ireland as a young man and worked as a printer, then had a second career at the Museum of Fine Arts. Known for his gift of the gab and his love for his adopted homeland and all the local sports teams. Predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara Giltrap. Father of Barbara Armitstead and her husband Michael of Ipswich, Ronald A. Giltrap and his wife Vibhuti of Malden, Eileen Palma and her husband Joseph of Malden, Mary Firicano and her husband Paul of S. Hamilton and Patricia Schwalb and her husband Marc of Wenham. Grandfather of Maggie, Natalie, Lucy, Ronan, Thomas, Ryan, Jane, Audrina, Fiona, Brigid, Brian and Brendan. Survived by his brothers William, Michael, Joseph, and Terry of Athy, County Kildare Ireland. He is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend services at the Immaculate Conception Church in Malden at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025,  Services will conclude with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, Mass.
