Ronald Thomas Williams

Ronald Wiliams-Boston Cremation

died January 9, 2023 at the age of 59.  He was born in Van Nuys, California.  He is survived by his wife Natacha, his son Hunter, stepchildren Naline (and husband Weethzer), Nelffy, and Rachida, step grandchildren Ethan and Liam, siblings: Jennifer (Randy) Rogers, Rodney (Patricia) Williams, and Caryl (Matt) Brown, nieces and nephews, and many friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mildred Williams.

He grew up in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys of Southern California, attending Villa Cabrini and Holy Rosary elementary schools, and St. Genevieve’s and Saugus High schools. He lived all around the country (cooking in restaurants, painting houses in Las Vegas, helping with post-Katrina reconstruction in New Orleans), but lived mostly around Boston, MA.  Our parents were so proud of the man he became, the work he did on the Boston Homelessness Task Force, the way he helped people when he could, the love he had for his family and friends, and how much he spoiled his dogs!

He had a great memory, and loved reminiscing about old times, family camping trips with 4 kids and 3 dogs in a tent trailer, and all the trouble that had a way of finding him.  He always got a good laugh from the antics of crazy politicians, and loved to cook for people.

An in-person memorial was held for close family and friends in Boston on January 13, and a virtual memorial is planned for Sunday February 12th, at 12pm PT/3pm ET.  Please join us by clicking this link ( https://meet.google.com/nof-mcno-pmp ), and follow instructions to join. If you do not have a google account, this will only work on a computer (not from a phone).

In addition, please leave memories of Ron here on this memorial wall, or on his facebook page (Ron Williams) if you’re connected that way.  May he forever rest in peace.
