Rose M. Thibeault

Rose Thibeault (Magnarelli) passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care in Milton, MA. Living in Quincy, she raised two boys, Steven and Daniel. Steven and Carla Thibeault are parents of her beloved grandchildren Marc and Danielle who gave her great grandchildren: Cavan, Cecelia, Wilton and Samuel. Daniel and Elizabeth Thibeault brought her a third grandchild, her beloved Alec. She was pre-deceased by her sister Jenny and brother Charlie. She is also survived by her brother Romeo Magnarelli as well many Magnarelli nieces and nephews and their families: Gary & Leona, Bob & Helena, Charlie & Barbara, Diane, Maryann & Bill, Ricky & Loretta, John & Pam.
As a single mom, she transitioned her career several times, re-training frequently to provide for her family, from war-time production lines, to Raytheon, and finally Verizon for many years working in Micro-film Records. She loved being with family and friends, collecting various fun items and shopping, buying many trinkets for everyone she knew. It was one of the many ways she showed her love. A life-long learner, she stayed current with technology and would frequently shop online and send emails to friends and family. She was known for her generous and loving spirit and was always ready to lend a hand, her heart and a comforting ear.
In accordance with the CDC’s current restrictions on gatherings due to Covid-19, all services will be held privately. Interment will be in Blue Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and in honor of the amazing healthcare workers who cared for her at Beth Israel Hospital in Milton, please donate to the Beth Israel Deaconess Healthcare Heroes Fund. Alternately, consider St. Jude’s Hospital for Children.

She was my anchor and as close as a sister. We shared every occasion- ups and downs, joys, and sadness..I held you, Dan,-and you Steve-when you were born..she was an inspiration with her courage and determination to always look for the best in everyone. She was the essence of a Christian woman. Roger and I share your sweetest memories of our dearest friend..She is our Angel in Heaven.. Love always, Lisa and Roger

I was so sad when I read of Rose’s passing. I worked with her years ago in the phone company. She was the best to be around. Always tried to be positive, had a great laugh, loved talking about her sons and her family. She was one of a kind. So sorry for your loss!
