Rosemarie S. Lurie

Rose sadly died from a battle with METASTATIC LUNG CANCER on
August 12,2021 at the age of 66.

Rosemarie Sophia Collier Lurie was born at St. Elizabeth’s hospital on
May 7, 1955 to Lorraine Eagals Collier and William Theodore Collier.
Rosemarie lived in Boston until she was 14 and left home and went to
New York and found small jobs to make enough money to find a place
to live. She got a job working in a Bakery learning how to bake. In her
20s she came back home to Boston.

It was around that time she got a job working at Till Incorporated
working as a paraprofessional working with children with special needs.
She also worked as a waitress and for Fiesta Shows for some time!
In her 30s she became unable to work due to her eyesight.

Rosemarie had 5 children, 4 sons and 1 daughter (1 son passed away at
birth), In which she didn’t get to raise due to many sad circumstances in
her life. But she found all 4, 7 years ago! She has a very great
relationship with her first born child Michael (who was adopted) and
his wife Christine and her only grandchild Sean Nicholas Ellison. Her
daughter Desiree Isenberg has special needs and lives in a group home,
and she had great relationship with her as well. Rose wasn’t able to
maintain a relationship with her other two son’s Brandon Isenberg and
Jeremy Lurie for many reasons. Rose is survived by her sister April
Lawrence and a dear friend who was more like a son David Huesser.
She also leaves behind a lot of loving family and friends.
