Russell Guilford, 56, of Peabody, died July 8, 2015 at home. He was the son of the late Chester and Ruth (Ferrier) Guilford. He is survived by his life partner of 30 years, Louisa Marcotte; siblings, Virginia Butman of Boxford, Elaine Rasmussen of Gorham, NH, Judy Guilford of Boxford, Chet Guilford of Albion, ME and Janet Ouellette of Shapleigh, ME; and six nieces and nephews. Russell was born in Ipswich, served in the Army in occupational forces in Berlin, and worked as a machinist for many years at Stocker and Yale, formerly in Beverly. He enjoyed caring for horses and polo and assisted with stadium jumping, competitions and the hunt trails at the Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton. Services will be held at a later date.
