Thomas A. Fritsche

Thomas A. Fritzsche (58), passed away on June 14th, 2020 from complications from a brain tumor (glioblastoma multiforme). He was born and raised in Chicago and spent his adult years in Boston, MA. His passions were in photography, bicycling, cooking, and travel. He was an avid bicyclist riding throughout the Boston area and on weekends would ride from Boston to a lake house in New Hampshire. In their travels he would photograph the places in new perspectives that opened new views. He was always curious, whether it was a person next to him, in his cooking, or in his studies of religion and philosophy in college. His passions led him to doing research on solar energy, digital imaging, and medical radiography. His love and passions will be missed greatly by the loved ones left: his wife, son, sister, brother, and their various families. Our hearts and souls will treasure him and miss him.

I went to elementary school with Thomas, and I remember being at his house once for a play date when we were in lower school. Lost touch from high school on, and only heard about his passing today from another Lab School classmate. So sorry for your loss.

Like Alex I knew Thomas as a child. I remember his smile and laugh. His joy and open heart. I am sorry to learn of his parting, but am grateful to know he spread his Light.

I spent Elementary and High School with Thomas and found him to be an intellectually curious guy and a sweet soul. I wish we had kept in touch over the years. Sending my condolences to the Fritsche family in your time of loss.
